How exactly can I access the complete traces datasets which also includes ground truth. I aim to classify neurons based on neuron type ids.

Have you checked the documentation here in the GitHub FAQs?

With "traces", do you mean the calcium imaging traces? How to access those is documented in the FAQs linked above. If, however, you are interested in the raw electrophysiological recordings, those are not included in the ground truth data uploaded on GitHub because those traces are too large (usually sampled at 10 kHz, as opposed to 10-200 Hz for calcium traces) - too big for a repository. Also, I have access to the raw ephys data only for a subset of the ground truth data. If you can tell me which data you are mostly interested in, I can find out how difficult it would be to access the raw ephys traces and let you know.
