Live activity in 3.10.0 has occluded BG value with ellipses "..."

BG gets cut off (via "...") in lock-screen live activity widget.

To Reproduce
BG: 136, Active Insulin 4.0U, Active Carbs 41g, 1:39PM Updated.
BG shows up as "13..."

Expected behavior
Full visualization of the BG number ought to be prioritized spatially on the widget.

I also use an iPhone 15, running 26.2. With standard text sizes, I do not have this issue. However, when I increase the text size I reproduce it.

At that point I reduced the number of items in the bottom row to 3 instead of 4. This gives an immediate workaround.

I also noticed that there were times when the save button didn’t change between blue (active) and grey (inactive).

Perhaps @elnjensen can take a look.

This is because the trend arrow is part of that display item, and it is being truncated.

As @marionbarker noted, you can easily choose to prioritize full display of the current BG (or any other fields) by choosing to have fewer fields present in the bottom row. I use large text and a small phone (iPhone 13 mini), and three fields works well.

Let me know if you find a reproducible case where you have definitely changed something and the button doesn’t turn blue (though probably it should be in a separate issue). Nite that if you change the bottom row configuration, the saving there is separate from that on the initial config screen, I.e. if you make changes to the bottom row and then save, when you arrive back at the screen for other parameters, and nothing has changed there, the Save button is inactive. I wonder if that Save button should be removed, and just have changes save automatically.

2. This issue is new to updating to 3.10 (was not present in 3.8 with custom live_activity). Attaching screenshot from 3.8. No changes to iOS or any iPhone settings between these.

There isn’t a preference option for this, though you could customize the code.

At the request of Pete Schwamb, the text “IOB” was changed to “Active Insulin” and “COB” to “Active Carbs” for consistency with labels elsewhere in Loop. You could customize to revert those changes.

FWIW, the default settings for the Live Activity shouldn't have issues rendering. Would recommend shorter text, differently managed space, or defaulting to 3 values in the BottomRow (instead of the 4).

I don't mind just customizing it for myself though.
