How to use self defined probe to generate datasets?

Hi,
I want to reproduce the MEArec datasets published here: https://gitlab.tudelft.nl/sbi_tudelft-public-code/spatial_spike_sorting/-/blob/main/README.md?ref_type=heads

They provide the template.yaml, array.yaml and recording.yml.

I only have the experience with already defined probe. Can you share how the template and recording can be generated, with user-defined probe? Thank you very much!

Hi,

MEArec uses MEAutility to handle probes. Here is how you can add a new probe to the available probes:

import MEAutility as mu

mu.add_mea("MEArec/Array/WIREDOR32X32_36u.yaml")

This should make the WIREDOR32X32_36u probe availeble to MEArec.
