Unfortunately, I've had zero time to maintain this library since it was created as a small hobby project (together with https://github.com/andhus/dirhash and https://github.com/andhus/scantree).

I see that it is used by quite a few projects and I'd be happy to get contributors/collaborators to keep it up to date and look into the posted issues. Let me know if you're interested.

Hi @andhus.
I'm not saying i'll be a long term contributor, but i guess i could help a bit setting GH actions for automated testing of contributions and eventual automated release.
My motivation is in the fact that I'm using the project in my work projects and i need new release with latest fixes to finish p3.12 upgrade
