Subject: [github/github-mcp-server] Supporting get_check_runs to make failure information available to agents (Discussion #1999)
Hi team! I’m following up on PR #1953<#1953>, which adds the get_check_runs method to the pull_request_read toolset.
This PR is a fix for issue #1942<#1942>. It will help AI agents identify specific CI/CD job failures that are currently hidden by the high-level get_status method. The particular use case I am hoping to unlock is the ability to fix these failures automatically.
I believe this will be useful to many users of the Github MCP, so I am looking for help to move this PR forward.
