Improve test coverage

## Description
Test coverage is currently around 10-15%, we should improve this test coverage where possible.

## Tasks/General Thoughts
- [ ] Improve test coverage on main libraries
- [ ] Improve test coverage only on trait groups which are actually used (e.g. wasting time on websocket not required).
