I am trying to use scholarly but the example does not seem to work. I'm not sure how to diagnose this.
Python 3.12.4
Mac OS 15.6.1
Ran pip install scholarly successfully
Ran:
from scholarly import scholarly
without error.
Running:
search_query = scholarly.search_author('Steven A Cholewiak')
as in the example yields an empty iterator.

How should I troubleshoot?

same issue, the code i'm using is the first example code.

if I add the second example code (using proxy) as well then i get the funny
