Developing Modules/Packages on the Platform

I'm coming from a Salesforce background and am wondering what Twenty's current capabilities and roadmap are for developing something like managed packages on the platform, the goal being to develop modular functionality that can be safely deployed to multiple Twenty instances and upgraded with subsequent releases.

I'm also wondering if Twenty instances can be source-driven. Is it possible to track customizations and deploy from Github? Is there something like Salesforce's metadata to represent customizations?

If you have any suggestions or documentation, I'd be very grateful.
