requirement pkg_resources gets removed by 2025-11-30

This project depends on the
requirement pkg_resources which gets removed by 2025-11-30.

Would you update the project and push a new release to pypi?

pkg_resources is used in the project only in main and only to set the version.
You could hard code the version and eliminate the need for pkg_resources.

Please remove it also from requiremenrs.txt
