Summary of Changes

Hello @vLuckyyy, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request focuses on improving the overall contributor experience by modernizing the issue reporting and feature request processes through GitHub Forms, and by providing clearer, more detailed documentation for setting up a development environment and submitting contributions. The changes aim to streamline interactions and ensure that necessary information is collected efficiently from community members.

Highlights

  • Issue Template Migration: The traditional Markdown-based issue templates for bug reports and feature requests have been migrated to the new GitHub Forms (YAML-based) format, providing a more structured and guided submission process for users.
  • Enhanced Contribution Documentation: The CONTRIBUTING.md file has been significantly updated to offer a more comprehensive and user-friendly guide for new and existing contributors, covering development setup, build instructions, and detailed steps for contributing code, reporting bugs, and requesting features.
  • New Issue Template Configuration: A config.yml file has been introduced to manage issue templates, disabling blank issues and directing users to community resources like Discord and documentation for general inquiries.
  • Updated Pull Request Template: The pull request template has been revised to include more structured sections for describing changes, categorizing the type of change, and specifying the test environment, aiming to improve the quality and clarity of PR submissions.

Code Review

This pull request significantly improves the contribution process by migrating issue templates to GitHub Forms and enhancing the CONTRIBUTING.md file. The new forms are well-structured and will help gather necessary information for bug reports and feature requests. The contribution guide is also more comprehensive. My feedback includes a few minor suggestions to improve the formatting and clarity of the new documentation and templates.
