feat: remove parallelism concept, add optional duration reporting, and improve reporter

1. I think the concept of parallelism here was too high level and it should be managed by the implementation instead.
2. Replaced report_long_running_test with report_running_test because it's more flexible.
3. Added the ability to return a duration for a test instead of using the built-in duration.
