Code Review

This pull request updates the core dependency to version 1.4.0 and bumps the package version accordingly. The changes are in pubspec.yaml and the corresponding pubspec.lock file. My review points out an inconsistency in pubspec.yaml where the core dependency is updated via dependency_overrides instead of directly in the dependencies block. I've suggested updating the dependencies block for better clarity and maintainability.
