This extracts logic for checking balanced brackets in urls. This can be reused for Server Objects and Path Item Objects.
This contains convenience methods for version-agnostic data retrieval.

I've extracted some logic that will be reusable in PathItems.
I think there is room for more extractions like this, going forward.
