Starting in v0.7, list inputs with session memory default to appending to stored history when no session_input_callback is provided, matching developer expectations. This pull request documented the prior ambiguity concern in code comments to preserve historical intent, and added a regression test to assert the new default append behavior alongside existing callback coverage.
